Islam Is the Code of Life; Prescribed by Allah

Islam is the religion of Allah. Through this he wants to direct man into the Right Path. Unlike other religions, it encompasses and regulates all aspects of human life. A Muslim spends 24 hours of a day in the way of Allah. He reiterates it during his prayer: "My worship, and my sacrifices, and my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the world." This is the proclamation of a Muslim, to which Allah orders. Hence advocating an un-Islamic suggestion means accepting some part of it, and disregarding the rest. Rejecting some part of it means rejecting the entire book. 'What is the reward of those who do so save ignominy in the life of the world? and on the Day of resurrection they will be considered to be the most grievous doom. For Allah is not unaware of what ye do'; Allah says: "Such are those who buy the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter; their punishment will not be lightened, neither will they have support" (Qur'an 2:86).
'Lo! Those who disbelieve, among the people of the scripture and the idolaters, will abide as fire of hell. They are the worst of the created beings' (Qur'an 98:6).

In the light of these verses we can understand how a Muslim should live. All the time the only 'mantra' in his heart will be that of Allah. Such a Muslim cannot sit merely watching obscene play, cinema, or spend his valuable time on entertainment. Allah says; 'such as one who remembers of Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, consider the creation of the heaven and the earth, (and say) our Lord not for naught hast thou created (all) this! Glory to thee! Preserve us from the doom of fire' (Qur'an 3:191). 'Lo! Those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. Their reward is with their Lord: gardens of eternity, underneath which rivers flow, wherein they dwell for ever. Allah hath pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him. This is (in store) for him who feareth his Lord' (Qur'an 98:8).

We can see around us people who would Known as Muslims by name, do not have any faith or sign of Islam; they term its rules are orthodox, and want to rewrite, even Qur'an according to the changing world. "But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning) to mislead (men) from Allah and throw ridicule (on the path): for such there will be a humiliating chastisement. When our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if there are he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous chastisement" (Qur'an 31:6-7).

"Of the people there are some who say: "we believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they don't (really) believe. Fain would they deceive Allah and those believe, but they deceive themselves, realize it not! In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease. And grievous is the chastisement they (incur), because they lied (to themselves). When it is said to them: "make not mischief on the earth" they say: "we are only ones that put things right." Of surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realize (it) not. When it is said to them: "believe as the others believe". They say "shall we believe the fools believe? "Nay of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know", (Qur'an 2:8-13).

'Have you seen him who has taken his whims and desires to be his deity? Will you then be his guardian? Do you suppose that most of them hear or understand? They are just like cattle. Indeed they are even more astray! (Qur'an 25: 43-44). Qur'an informs that the hypocrites who deceive Allah and his believers by professing belief and them concealing their efforts to harm believers and to divert from the right path, that their punishment will be even more severe than that of the unbeliever, atheists and irreligious people , for they say lies in the name of Allah and show hypocrisy, insincerity, and dishonesty'. 'The hypocrites are in the deep depth of the Fire. You will not find any one to help them' (Qur'an 4:145). Allah says: 'and When said to him: Be careful of thy duty to Allah, pride taketh him to sin. Hell will settle his account, an evil resting place (Qur'an 2:206).
